For the next 3 weeks, we will be discussing the United Methodist promise of "Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors".
Today, we bgin with Open Hearts.
What do YOU think having an Open heart means?
What is one way we can have a more open heart here at CSUMC?
What is hardest for you when working on an open heart?
Think about these things and leave your thoughts here, or drop me a link to your blog :)
Next week: open minds.

Sorry I wasn't able to be there Saturday or Sunday to hear ya speak, but I read your sermon on your livejournal thing, and.... WOW! Amazing! That really gave me a such a weird outlook on things. On being a methodist, being a Christian, on what our "Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors" thing really means, and it made me think.... about how hard it is to do all that, but it showed me what I should be doing and how to do it.
I don't know... I just can't explain how I felt when I was reading it. I had tears in my eyes... it was just amazing! Thank you so much! I can't wait to actually HEAR you the next 2 weeks! But... until then I'll be practicing...
Love.
forgive.
Serve.
become vulnerable.
;) *wink*
Becca that was amazing sermon ! I just want to know that Im gonna try and do all those things so instead of saying I am a Methodist I'm going to try and show others what I really say i am !I hope you know that I'm inspired by You !
Thank you for telling me what 1/3 of a methodist is ! To become a Open Hearted person you have to be Loving, forgiving and serving and if you do ALL of those thingd you become vulnerable and thats how you get an Open Hearted Person !
