Yes, I know I haven't updated our blog in a while but there's so much going on that it's hard to just stop and write about all the fun and exciting events going on!
What's going on right now in the Church is:
Starting Monday it's our second year of Downtown Vacation Bible School! I'd like to thank all who will be helping out with our second year. We are so excited for VBS and we can't wait to see all the bright and shining faces of the energetic children. We are going to touch many children's hearts and I'm just so excited! How about you ?
Tuesday we do have Softball and it is at 6:00 PM. Come and support us!
On Wednesday there is a worship service. It is a worship service that is different and fun. The service is really about taking everything into action! We do not have a name for the service yet. Every Wednesday is different from the other so you will always be in for surprises. Come and check it out. Bring a sack lunch at 6:00 PM for dinner which will be in the dining room, and then join us in the chapel at 6:30 PM for worship! We would love to see you there! :)
On Sunday we have regular worship at 9:00 am in the Sanctuary.
Then the youth have Puppet practice right after service. We are getting so close to our Mission Tour! I can see all the excitement in their faces. It's going to be amazing and I know they just can't wait! We leave august 1st and come back on August 10! A Journey in Love that were all excited for.
The youth just came back from I-fest where they learned so much from other puppeteers and workshops! Not one day went by that they didn't learn something new to add into their puppet ministry. :) Right when they came back from I-fest the next day was Sunday and we had practice and you could tell that they listened and learned new things for their puppets. The whole theme was about being Fully Committed to God! They all really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back again next year.
These are the fun and exciting events happening at Court Street right now! Well we'll update more later.
